2017-2018 Teach In-Service Schedule

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new teachers and veteran teachers as we begin the process of preparing for the 2017-2018 school year. It once again promises to be an exciting school year as we continue to move forward as a "learning organization" that takes a tremendous amount of pride in offering our students and community opportunities to grow together. 

We will start off the school year with a new teacher orientation on August 15th.  I look forward to the conversation that we will have on this day.  Hopefully, this will help alleviate some of the anxiety that you may be feeling coming into your new position. 

All teacher in-service will follow on August 16th and 17th. As is the case every year, we will once again take time to cover our comprehensive needs assessment and some annual topics that must be reviewed.  Once this is completed, many of you will have scheduled time to meet with the folks from Houghton Mifflin to review through the new ELA curriculum.

Please take time to check this post out several times over the next few weeks.  I am certain the schedule will change as we get closer to our start date.  I should also mention that we will have time allotted in the schedule for building principal meetings and classroom prepping.
