January 4th Staff Development Day - Welcome Back from Winter Break

Educators,

I hope all of you are in a warm place enjoying a few days of winter break as we see our first big winter storm of the year roll into our area.  It looks as if we may not get the brunt of the snow but we all know that what we get, will most certainly create havoc with the expected wind.

Please know as I share with you the schedule of the staff development day on January 4th that I truly believe we have made great strides as a school district during the first semester.  We have seen many of our students grow academically while witnessing our students demonstrating outstanding character through service leadership.  I want to thank all of you for creating learning opportunities for students allowing them to exhibit their strengths while building their confidence in accepting new challenges. 

We will continue to focus on addressing school climate and the impact it has on student/teacher growth in school during our January 4th event.  I look forward to having a conversation with each one of you as we prepare for the second semester.

Teachers participating in the restorative justice training in McLaughlin, are not required to attend.
